Are you struggling with low back pain?
Does your back hurt more when you bend or sit, or does it hurt more when you stand or walk. This series has a beginner, and intermediate level for each ‘kind’ of back pain that is hindering your movement. It is based on the exercises that you would be often given in a physiotherapy clinic. The classes do not require any equipment.
‘Flexion lovers’ series
These classes are for those whose back feels more comfortable when they sit or bend forward rather than standing or walking, that is they prefer exercises that have a ‘flexion’ bias.
‘Extension lovers’ series
These classes are for those whose back feels more comfortable when they stand or walk rather than sit or bend forward to put your trousers on, that is they prefer exercises that have a ‘extension’ bias.
Level 1 – is an ideal starting place if your back is still painful most of the time and this is often in the early days after onset, or the acute phase
Level 2- is a progression from level 1, your back is moving better and the pain is now more intermittent; you now just have to move carefully.
