Breathing and posture influence each other, both should be natural and effortless. “No other movement can be normalised if your breathing is not”. Respiration has a key role in posture, spinal stability, cardiovascular function, bowel movements and continence, pain management, it boosts your immune system, calms an anxious mind, and reduces stress.
This session is an introduction to ‘good’ breathing. You discover what sort of breather you are at rest. We also loosen up an any rib, back, shoulder, neck stiffness as this can affect your breathing patterns. You learn and then practice ‘good’ breathing so that you are right to incorporate good breathing into all our classes.
